WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for January 24, 2023: Vehicles Ticketed For Violating Winter Parking Ban

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, January 24, 2023:
  • A caller reported a man in a dark gray pick-up truck possibly sleeping in Shell Gas Station parking lot. Police responded. Driver had been plowing all night. He will head home. (12:41am)
  • Police issued several citations for violation of overnight parking ban on Freeport Drive, Jewel Drive and other roads. (1:47am)
  • Fire Department transported one after vehicle crash near 93 South Exit 34. State Police handled scene. (9:34am)
  • Fire Department responded to oven fire on Boutwell Street. (1:02pm)
  • A Main Street caller reported a vehicle struck her house and cracked a window. The vehicle headed on towards Woburn. Police caught up to vehicle, which was towed. Vehicle did not strike house, but a rock was kicked up and cracked a window when vehicle swerved. (5:55pm)
  • A caller left her wallet in a Target carriage by mistake. She returned hours later and it was gone. Theft prevention will review the security tapes. (6:29pm)
  • A caller reported his vehicle was struck while parked at Textron between 8:45am and 8pm. Security cameras did not see the accident. (7:00pm)
