WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for December 4, 2022: Nursing Home Receives Bomb Threat; Teen Employee Assaulted By Customer At Market Basket

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, December 4, 2022:
  • A Cumberland Farms manager called to report an employee accepted a fake $100 bill. (6:17am)
  • Homeowner reported a tractor trailer damaged his lawn on Garden Avenue. Police located tractor trailer and told homeowner to contact the truck’s corporate officers to seek reimbursement. (7:11am)
  • A caller reported an injured goose on the side of the road on Lake Street. Police responded. Goose was down near the water walking around. Its side feathers were “messed up.” (11:36am)
  • AdviniaCare received a bomb threat via email. Email was sent at 3:29am. Police responded (12:47pm)
  • A tree struck a parked vehicle on Harris Avenue. (3:01pm)
  • A caller reported her jacket, keys and purse were stolen from her shopping cart at Target. Police responded. Another shopper mistakenly took the caller’s cart. (5:52pm)
  • A walk-in party reported his child was physically assaulted by a customer while working at Market Basket. (7:26pm)
  • State Police responded to possible car fire on 93 North, near Exit 31. (9:23pm)
