WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for November 29, 2022: Man Served Summons; Issue On Train; Stolen Delivery; Misunderstanding Gives Homeowner A Scare

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, November 29, 2022:
  • An Avalon Drive resident reported a Stitch Fix order, valued at $300, was stolen between Friday at 10am and Saturday at 3pm. (10:56am)
  • An Oakdale Road caller reported a man came to her front door and tried the door knob, then went to her side door and tried the door knob. Man then left in pickup truck. Police responded. Landscapers across the street confirmed. Police viewed surveillance footage, which also confirmed the situation. Police located man, who stated he was looking to pick up a check and went to the wrong house. Police confirmed it was a misunderstanding, and man had picked up check from nearby house. (2:22pm)
  • Police assisted with a SWAT callout in Tewksbury. (4:00pm)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Shawsheen Avenue. Road temporarily shut down. Both vehicles towed. (5:26pm)
  • Nahyn Issaih Nunez (21, Wilmington) was served a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Failure To Stop/Yield. (8:01pm)
  • Commuter rail dispatch reported a possible assault. Conductor held train at North Wilmington station. Police responded. Not as reported. 2 passengers had a verbal disagreement. Conductor wanted 1 of the passengers removed. Passenger was picked up by friends and train was released. (10:22pm)
