WILMINGTON POLICE LOG for November 10, 2022: Passenger Gets Into Argument With Uber Driver; Crawling Man

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, November 10, 2022:
  • A caller reported he and his Uber driver got into a verbal argument. Driver kicked him out and ended up taking off with caller’s phone and other belongings. A caller’s friend arrived on scene and located caller’s belongings on side of the road. Caller wasn’t looking to press charges. Police advised caller to contact Uber. (8:38am)
  • A school bus’s mirror struck a pole at Butters Row and Towpath Drive. No damage to actual bus. No injuries. (1:12pm)
  • A caller reported a man was crawling on the side of the road and yelled “get away from me” in the area of Concord Street and Federal Street. Police responded, but was unable to locate the man. (5:04pm)
  • A caller reported approximately 10 individuals in the student parking lot yelling and screaming. Police responded and located a small gathering after the football game. Police waited until the parties dispersed. (10:25pm)
  • A Towpath Drive caller reported an unknown party was banging on her front door. Police responded and located 5 juveniles outside. Parents were contacted. A parent of the one of the juveniles picked them up. (11:11pm)
