WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington School Committee is holding a meeting this Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 7pm in the High School’s Large Instruction Room.
The meeting will be streamed live on WCTV.org and on WCTV.
There are several noteworthy items on the meeting agenda, including:
- a performance from the Middle School A Cappella group and updates on the Middle School & High School drama club productions.
- the Superintendent’s report, featuring information on the joint Town Hall/School Administration Building Project and the district’s CIT Professional Development Fall Activities.
- finance and budget updates from Superintendent Brand, and a revolving accounts report from Assistant Superintendent Ruggiero
- presentation on the district’s MCAS results from Assistant Superintendent Elliott
- discussion of adjusting pay for substitutes
- subcommittee report from MJ Byrnes, who recently represented Wilmington at the Massachusetts Association of School Committee’s Annual Conference
The School Committee will also hear any public comments, correspondence, and subcommittee reports.
An Executive Session precedes the meeting at 6pm, where they’ll receive an update on contract negotiations with the Educational Assistants union.
