WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department is once again taking part in the “Pink Patch Project” to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating this devastating disease.
Patches will be available for sale for $10 each at the Wilmington Police Department’s Front Desk during the month of October.
All proceeds from the patches will go to the Hope and Friendship Metastatic Breast Cancer Foundation, a Wilmington based organization.
Participating Wilmington police officers will be wearing the pink patch on their uniform during the month of October.
The patch was designed by Officer Emily Stebbins, the Wilmington Middle School Resource Officer.
