POLICE LOG for September 11: 22 Catalytic Converters Stolen; New York Driver Arrested

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, September 11, 2022:
  • Jaylier Baez (20, Bronx) was arrested for Unlicensed Operation A Motor Vehicle and Motor Vehicle Lights Violation. (12:27am)
  • Police assisted Fire Department with possible gas leak at Ametek on Fordham Road. (2:44am)
  • 22 catalytic converters were stolen from trucks on Woburn Street after 9pm last night. (6:58am)
  • A Woburn St. caller reported their mailbox was struck sometime before 9am. Mailbox was broken in half and car parts were left behind. (2:12pm)
  • Police received report of an erratic operator, swerving and driving with no headlights. Operator pulled into Cumberland Farms. Police responded. Operator checked OK. He was driving a rental car and unsure how to turn on the headlights. (9:57pm)
