POLICE LOG for September 1: Vehicle Crashes Into Guard Rail; Group Of Vehicles Not What It Seems; Street Sign Missing

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, September 1, 2022:
  • Police notified DPW that street sign for Avery Street was missing. (2:48am)
  • A vehicle struck a guard rail on Avalon Drive. Operator refused medical attention. Police issued writing warning for marked lanes violation. Vehicle towed. (5:17pm)
  • Police notified DPW of broken manhole cover at Church Street and Adams Street. (8:05pm)
  • A resident reported approximately 10 vehicles in the Winchester Family Medical Center’s parking lot. Police responded. Vehicles belonged to a line painting crew working in the parking lot. (10:53m)
