POLICE LOG for August 29: Car vs. Pedestrian; Homeowner Finds Bullet & Bullet Hole

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, August 29, 2022:
  • During a check, police noted 2 catalytic converters were cut from vehicles on Woburn Street. (12:42am)
  • An Ashwood Avenue caller reported a bullet hole and bullet in her attic last week. She wasn’t sure for how long it’s been there. (8:38am)
  • Police responded to a dispute between neighbors on North Street over a new fence being installed. (12:06pm)
  • 2-vehicle crash occurred at Federal Street and Middlesex Avenue. One operator transported by Fire Department. Vehicle towed. (12:34pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Starbucks. (1:11pm)
  • A car struck a pedestrian in the Lucci’s Plaza parking lot. Severe injuries. Fire Department cancelled Medflight. State Police’s Reconstruction Team notified. Two vehicles towed. (1:22pm) [Editor’s Note: Police issued a press release HERE.]
