POLICE LOG for August 17: Angry Customer At RMV; Police Receives Calls Over Coyotes & Foxes

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, August 17, 2022:
  • A Biggar Avenue caller reported a small fox will not leave the area and is under her vehicle. Police responded. Fox is very young. Residents were advised on different ways to make noise to scare fox away. (9:36am)
  • A Salem Street caller reported two coyotes in the street in front of his home. (10:51am)
  • RMV employee requested officer responded in response to angry customer. Customer was asked to leave. Police responded. No threats made. Customer was upset over wait times. He was sent on his way. (12:54pm)
  • A Jere Road caller reported a possible rabid fox wondering the neighborhood. Fox was originally on his porch and is now approaching children. Police responded. Fox had mange and took off into the woods. (1:58pm).
