POLICE LOG for August 16: Woburn Man Arrested For OUI While License Is Suspended For OUI; Bicycle Stolen; Deceased Fox

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, August 16, 2022:
  • Police removed a deceased fox from Andover Street. (8:54am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on MIddlesex Avenue. Town-owned tree damaged. Shrubs & bushes damaged. One vehicle towed. (8:59am)
  • Benevento’s cleaned up cement spills from one of its trucks on Salem Street. (10:24am)
  • Vehicle struck mailbox on Brattle Street. Driver cited for speeding. Vehicle towed. (2:14pm)
  • A caller reported a hit and run at the Avalon Oaks complex. (5:04pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a bicycle stolen from the bike rack next to the liquor store in the Wilmington Plaza. (6:19pm)
  • Richard Murray (24, Woburn) was arrested for OUI While Licensed Suspended For An OUI; Number Plate Violation; Possession Of An Open Container Of Alcohol In Motor Vehicle; No Or Expired Inspection Sticker; Failure To Wear Seatbelt; and Motor Vehicle Lights Violation. (9:42pm)
