POLICE LOG for August 14: More Catalytic Converters Stolen; Injured Cat; Car vs. Guardrail

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, August 14, 2022:
  • During a check, police noticed catalytic converters were cut out of 2 box trucks at Cochrane Ventilation on Ballardvale Street. (12:46am)
  • A caller on Cunningham Street reported an older gray cat is under her car and appears to be injured and unable to stand. Caller was able to bring the cat to animal hospital in Woburn.
  • Fire Department responded to smoldering mulch in MBTA parking lot. (4:59pm)
  • A vehicle struck a guard rail on South Street. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. (11:40pm)
