POLICE LOG for July 24: License Plate Stolen; Juveniles Causing Issues At Town Beach; Fox Hanging Around Yard

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, July 24, 2022:
  • A walk-in party reported their license plate was stolen while parked at Logan Airport. (8:14am)
  • A lifeguard called and reported there are approximately 8 juveniles jumping off the fishing pier. The juveniles were moving along by the time police arrived. (5:04pm) Lifeguard called back to report juveniles were back and swimming in the correct swimming area, but the lifeguards were trying to close the beach for the evening. (5:57pm)
  • A Braford Road caller reported a fox has been hanging around the property all weekend, including in his front yard for past 2 hours. Caller didn’t believe fox was sick or injured. Animal Control Officer will follow up. (6:15pm)
