POLICE LOG for July 19: Counterfeit Bills Passed; Fire In Woods; Grill Fire; Sign Stolen?

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, July 19, 2022:
  • Manager at Shell gas station reported 2 counterfeit bills were accepted by an employee. (9:33am)
  • A caller reported the Yentile sign at the corner of Cross Street and Lowell Street had been stolen. (4:46pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout outside the RMV with a 5-year-old locked in the car. (5:07pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a grill fire on Towpath Drive. (6:25pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to report of juveniles lighting a fire in the woods on Fairmont Avenue. Fire Department extinguished the fire. Police did not locate juveniles. (7:41pm)
