POLICE LOG for July 18: Car Crashes Into Guardrail; Bear Sighting On Woburn St.

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, July 18, 2022:
  • A single car crashed into a guardrail on 93 North, near Exit 31. Fire Department responded. State Police notified. (8:46am)
  • A Williams Ave. caller requested to speak to Animal Control Officer regarding chipmunk brought into house by cats. (9:25am)
  • Multiple callers reported bear sighting on Woburn Street and Woburn Street at Concord Street. (10:34am)
  • A Cunningham Street caller reported vehicles speeding down the street due to Route 62 detour. (12:35pm)
  • Police received multiple calls of tree down across roadway on Woburn Street. Only one lane open. Traffic was diverted down Eames Street. RMLD and DPW notified. (4:48pm)
