POLICE LOG for July 7: Man Served Summons For Alleged Larceny From Target; 4 School Buses Vandalized; 6 Teens Take Off From Group Home; Injured Hawk Rescued

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, July 7, 2022:
  • 6 juveniles left the Milestone Group Home on foot. 2 juveniles returned. Staff was able to locate and return the other 4. (12:35am)
  • Animal Control Officer retrieved an injured hawk and brought it to Tufts Veterinary Hospital. (7:08am)
  • Four school buses were vandalized in the North Reading Transportation bus lot on Lowell Street. (8:10am)
  • Ryan Ortiz Roman (23, Haverhill) was arrested on Main Street. Wilmington Police conducted a courtesy booking and transferred Roman back to the Haverhill Police’s custody. (12:41pm)
  • Derek J. Burns (42, Medford) was served a summons for Larceny Under $1200. Target security had contacted the police about a prior theft. (2:25pm)
