POLICE LOG for July 3: Child Gets Separated From Family During Fireworks; Inappropriate Drawings Spray Painted; UHaul Trailer Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, July 3, 2022:
  • Police observed 2 inappropriate drawings spray painted on the ground in the Swain Green parking area. Police notified DPW for removal. (1:26am)
  • A UHaul employee reported a car trailer theft that occurred on March 14, 2022. (11:42am)
  • A Nickerson Avenue resident reported that a fire hydrant has been knocked over sometime between 8am and noon. Water Department had been working on hydrant last week. Hydrant is off base, but no apparent damage. Water Department notified. (12:02pm)
  • A child got separated from their parents during the fireworks. Child was brought back to the station. Father came to station to pick up child. (10:43pm)
