POLICE LOG for July 2: Argument Over Parking Spot At Fun On The Fourth; Vehicle Towed

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, July 2, 2022:
  • Gift cards and $30 were found in the Market Basket parking lot. (3:34pm)
  • A Grove Avenue caller reported a mattress that was left by a resident that moved out keeps getting moved to different locations on the street. Police contacted DPW for a pickup. (7:19pm)
  • A vehicle is selling unauthorized items in the high school parking lot during Fun on the Fourth. Police advised them they cannot sell items. License plates were also confiscated and owner arranged for a private tow. (7:41pm)
  • A caller reported a party is standing in a parking spot at the high school, reserving it, and not letting anyone park there. Verbal argument is ongoing. Police responded. Parking issues rectified. (8:07pm)
