POLICE LOG for June 22: Tewksbury Woman Arrested; Train Gate Issues At North Wilmington Station; Opened Amazon Packages Found In Woods

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, June 22, 2022:
  • Wandilis Yonelis Andujar Aristy (28, Quincy) was served a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle, Speeding, Unregistered Motor Vehicle, Uninsured Motor Vehicle, and Possessing/Using A False/Stolen RMV Document (x2). (12:58am)
  • Andrea Rego (38, Tewksbury) was arrested on charges of Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (subsequent offense) and Speeding. (3:27am)
  • A caller reported train gates at North Wilmington station were down and flashing for awhile. Traffic backed up to Federal Hill. Keolis stated a tractor trailer unit spun gate around. Keolis enroute and MBTA police notified. (4:44pm)
  • A Brattle Street caller reported opened Amazon packages, most with Burlington addresses, scattered along woodline. Police responded and picked up boxes — most of them empty — and brought back to station. (8:09pm)
