POLICE LOG for June 21: 4 Catalytic Converters Stolen From Waltham St.; Father Thought Stranger Was Taking Photo Of His Daughter

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, June 21, 2022:
  • During a property check of Yentile, police noted lots of trash in the pavilion area and on the basketball court. (12:55am)
  • Four catalytic converters were stolen from vehicles parked on Waltham Street. (1:31am)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported a man appeared to be taking photos of his juvenile daughter in the yard. When confronted, man said he was taking photos of the fence. Police responded and spoke with man, confirming he was taking photos of the fence. (10:01am)
  • A Middlesex Avenue employer reported a catalytic converter was removed from a work van. Caller has security footage. (10:08am)
  • Police received report of gates stuck down on Salem Street. Keolis responded. (12:01pm)
  • A Stone Street caller reported a cat stuck in a tree. Animal Control Officer put food and water down, and will check back tomorrow morning. (3:11pm)
  • A Birchwood Road caller reported a ladder was stolen from his yard. (3:38pm)
