POLICE LOG for June 18: Highway Crash; Fallen Tree Misses Train Tracks

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, June 18, 2022:
  • A vehicle struck the guardrail and crashed into the woodline on 93 North, near marker mile 35. Female extraciated herself and was laying on ground. Vehicle towed. State Police handled scene. (6:00pm)
  • An Ohio Street caller believed a tree fell in the woods and is concerned it may have fallen on the train tracks. Police checked tracks, which were clear. (6:39pm)
  • Police came across a potentially disabled vehicle on Salem Street. Vehicle had run out of gas. AAA provided services. (9:46pm)
  • Police sent 2 high school-aged kids playing soccer on the field at Yentile Park on their way. (10:00pm)
