POLICE LOG for June 17: Man Arrested On Warrants; Mailbox Vandalized; 5 Vehicles Towed

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, June 17, 2022:
  • Private tow company towed 5 vehicles without permits from Horseshoe Lane. (1:26am)
  • A Norfolk Avenue caller reported hearing loud bang and doorbell around 1am. This morning, noticed mailbox uprooted and beer can on ground. (7:16am)
  • Animal Control Officer removed raccoon from dumpster. (8:08am)
  • 2-vehicle crash with rollover near the Golden Nozzle Car Wash on Main Street. Both vehicles towed. Both parties transported. (9:38am)
  • Animal Control Officer retrieved injured bunny from Swain Road and brought to vet in Chelmsford. (10:02am)
  • Joshua T. Kerwin (43, Peabody) was arrested on 5 warrants and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (12:47pm)
  • A lifeguard reported people on baby beach. Police moved along parent and 2 children watching the ducks. (1:44pm)
