POLICE LOG for June 14: Driver Flees After Striking Deer; Kids Breaking Town Beach Rules; Driver Ignores Stopped School Bus

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, June 14, 2022:
  • A vehicle struck a deer on 93 North, prior to Exit 31. Operator took off on foot and police were unable to locate. (3:10am)
  • Police received report of a vehicle passing by a school bus while its lights were activated on Middlesex Avenue. (7:58am)
  • Police cited driver for speeding, operating an unregistered vehicle, and a seat belt violation on Lake Street. Vehicle towed. (9:43am)
  • Police responded to report of 2 kids jumping off small pier at Silver Lake. Kids left prior to police arrival. Police got address of the kids and spoke with their parents. (1:21pm)
  • Lifeguard reported a large group of juveniles jumping of the fishing pier. All juveniles were gone by the time police arrived. (4:27pm)
