POLICE LOG for June 4: Driver Issued Summons; New Graffiti On Building; Woman Wants Ring Removed

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, June 4, 2022:
  • Police noted new, fresh, still wet graffiti in the area of the old Rite Aid. Police checked Benji Way, but could not locate anyone. (1:05am)
  • Esteban Chavez (25, Lynn) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Unsecured/Uncovered Load. Police were notified that a landscaping truck dropped stone at the Middlesex Avenue and Federal Street intersection. (8:33am)
  • A female party requested her ring be cut off. Fire Department rendered services. (4:49pm)
  • A caller stated there was a juvenile on a red moped doing wheelies in the middle of Aldrich Road. Police responded, but could not locate juvenile in question. (7:00pm)
  • A caller reported 3 juveniles were hitting a turtle with a stick on Lucaya Circle, saying they are killing it. Police moved the turtle with a shovel. Turtle appeared unharmed. Kids were sent on their way. (9:54pm)
