POLICE LOG for May 16: Train Gate Issues At North Wilmington Station (Again); Calls Involving Birds, Foxes & Squirrels

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, May 16, 2022:
  • A Lorin Drive caller reported fraud committed by a contractor. (8:52am)
  • A deceased fox was removed from Columbia Street. (9:24am)
  • Police assisted an Ohio Street resident with getting a bird out of their house. (10:41am)
  • Police restored the peace between two customers arguing in the Shell gas station parking lot. (12:37pm)
  • Animal Control Officer brought an injured squirrel to a vet in Westford. (12:56pm)
  • Fire Department reported a train just passed through the North Wilmington station and the train gates are still down with the lights flashing. Police confirmed. Police notified Keolis and MBTA Transit Police, who responded. (8:54pm)
