POLICE LOG for May 13: Multiple Complaints About Door-To-Door Solicitors; Train Crossing Issue On Clark St.

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, May 13, 2022:
  • Crossing guard at Boutwell reported a truck and trailer blocking the crosswalk. He was unable to safely cross the students. Police spoke with foreman, who agreed to move the vehicle. (8:31am)
  • Business owner reported someone illegally dumped carpet to the left of the liquor store in the Lucci’s plaza. Police reviewed surveillance footage. (9:12am)
  • Wilmington Animal Control Officer attempted to assist Andover Water Department in rescuing goose from storm drain, but goose could not be located. (1:43pm)
  • Caller reported blond-haired woman going door-to-door on Morningside Drive selling an inspect repellant. She was using a hover board. (6:16pm)
  • A caller reported train went by on Clark Street but lights are still flashing. Keolis notified. (6:19pm)
  • Caller reported a man going door-to-door on Hillside Way selling insect repellant. Seen walking towards Burlington Avenue. Police were unable to locate. (8:37pm)
  • Multi-vehicle crash on 93 South, prior to Exit 33. Guardrail struck. Highway shut down. State Police notified. No injuries noted. (10:45pm)
  • A caller reported juveniles were riding bikes and shooting each other with paint ball guns at Yentile Farm Park. Police responded, but did not locate anyone. (10:51pm)
