POLICE LOG for May 8: Crash On Grove Ave. Damages Town Property

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, May 8, 2022:
  • A walk-in party reported she believes there is an issue with the timing of the crosswalk light from Burlington Avenue to cross Main Street toward Church Street. It is taking 5-10 minutes to activate the crossing signal. (11:21am)
  • A walk-in party reported he lost his cell phone today somewhere between his Park St. residence and Lucci’s. He left it on the top of his hood prior to driving home. (11:59am)
  • A caller reported a large tree branch came down and is caught in wires at Woburn Street and Marie Drive. RMLD notified. (12:48pm)
  • Police and Fire responded to a crash on Grove Avenue. Town property, fence, and no parking sign was damaged. Vehicle towed. DPW notified. No injuries noted. Driver was cited for speeding. (3:44pm)
