POLICE LOG for May 6: OUI & Drug Arrest; Warrant Arrest; Teens On Motorized Scooters Causing Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, May 6, 2022:
  • Police noted the yield sign and ‘no left turn’ sign from the middle entrance to the Market Basket plaza were damaged and down on the ground. Mass Highway notified for replacement. (1:35am)
  • Richard R. Steen (61, Wilmington) was arrested on a probation warrant. (7:04am)
  • A caller reported her town vehicle was struck in the Deming Way parking lot. (9:59am)
  • A Dewey Avenue caller reported her backyard gate was open and two chair cushions are missing. (11:06am)
  • An Evergreen Drive resident reported gas was siphoned from their vehicle last night and wanted the incident logged. (1:31pm)
  • Sean M. Martin (36, North Reading) was issued a summons for Failure To Stop/Yield and Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License. (1:58pm)
  • Police received report of teens driving motorized scooters driving at a high rate of speed around the Dollar Tree parking lot. Police were unable to locate teens. (4:03pm)
  • Bryan Luis Nieves (25, Revere) was arrested for OUI Liquor; Negligent Operation Of A Motor Vehicle; Possession Of An Open Container Of Alcohol In Motor Vehicle; and Distributing A Class B Drug. (9:57pm)
