POLICE LOG for May 5: Woburn Man Arrested; Suspicious Man Steals Pack Of Cigarettes From Porch On Middlesex Ave.; Car Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, May 5, 2022:
  • Police checked on 2 vehicles in Pancho’s Cantina parking lot on Ballardvale Street. Owner was getting the restaurant ready for Cinco De Mayo. (1:30am)
  • Benevento cleaned up a stone spill on Salem Street. (8:24am)
  • Fire Department responded to complaint of trucks blocking fire lanes at Amazon Logistics on Fordham Road. (10:09am)
  • Michael Lee Barkhouse (64, Woburn) was arrested on a warrant. Barkhouse was pulled over and cited for seat belt violation and no inspection sticker. (11:57am)
  • Fire Department and State Police responded to report of a car fire on 93 South Exit 31 ramp. (2:45pm)
  • Fire Department assisted a custodian stuck in the elevator at the Public Safety Building. (3:04pm)
  • Car struck a parked car in the Market Basket parking lot. No injuries. (5:36pm)
  • Middlesex Avenue caller reported she had Ring footage of a suspicious male going onto her front porch, taking a pack of cigarettes, and then ringing the doorbell. (6:16pm)
  • Animal Control Officer notified on dead fox in driveway on Fletcher Lane. (9:31pm)
