POLICE LOG for May 2: Teen Offered Drugs In School Parking Lot; Threat At Dog Park; Fox vs. Bobcat; Vehicle Rollover

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, May 2, 2022:
  • A caller at the Dog Park reported an issue with larger male stating he would knock him out after the caller requested he keep his dogs away from the caller’s dog. Caller stated man left the scene to walk on trails. Caller also did not stay on scene. (9:40am)
  • A house is under agreement on Hobson Avenue, and a family of foxes is living under the front door. Animal Control Officer will meet with Fire Department during the inspection. Real estate agent also notified. (10:10am)
  • Police received a report of an altercation between a fox and bobcat on Hobson Avenue. Bobcat was reportedly injured. Police was unable to locate either animal. (10:47am)
  • Conservation Department employee reported an incident with an irate citizen and requested an officer accompany them on a site visit tomorrow. (12:50pm)
  • Police rescued a cat stuck in a wall on Cary Street. Car was brought to an animal clinic in Reading. (2:02pm)
  • A vehicle rollover took place on 93 North, near Mile Marker 32. Unknown injuries. Fire Department and State Police responded. (4:32pm)
  • Caller stated her 13-year-old son was riding his bike in the Woburn St. School parking lot and a group of teens or young adults, parked in a possibly black by the tennis courts, offered him drugs. Vehicle was gone by the time police arrived. (7:58pm)
