POLICE LOG for April 25: Bomb Squad Responds To Grenade; North Wilmington Train Station Vandalized

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, April 25, 2022:
  • North Reading Police was notified by security at business on River Park Drive that a grenade was found behind a salt pile in the parking lot. Land is located in both Wilmington and North Reading. Police, Fire, State Police and Bomb Squad responded. Grenade turned out to be a replica. (7:33am)
  • Malicious damage was done to the MBTA North Wilmington train station. Waiting booth plexiglass has been smashed by a rock. Signs for train car placements have also been damaged. Keolis and MBTA Police notified and responded. (11:02am)
  • Action Ambulance medic reported a minor motor vehicle in area of Main Street and Burlington Avenue enroute to a call. (2:56pm)
  • Police assisted with a SWAT call in Chelmsford. (10:15pm)
