LIBRARY LINEUP: Library Giving Out 200 FREE Canaan Fir Seedlings Beginning April 25

Tree Seedling Giveaway on Monday, April 25 (ALL DAY)

The library is giving away 200 Canaan Fir seedlings, which are native to New England. Stop by the library to pick up your seedling while supplies last.  The tree seedling giveaway helps designate Wilmington as a Tree City.  One per person or two per family. Thank you to the Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library for funding this giveaway.

If you love to cook and enjoy talking about food and sharing recipes then this group is for you.  Pick up a copy of the cookbook (or find a recipe from the book online), register on the library events calendar, and record your recipe. Bring your dish to the meeting and enjoy sampling everyone’s dishes! Featured book: Lemon, Love & Olive Oil by Mina Stone

Wednesday, April 27, 7pm

This group continues the work started with the library’s antiracism series. Instead of discussing the entire book, the group will read a select number of chapters per month to allow for more in depth conversation. Featured Book: The Making of Asian America: A History by Erika Lee Chapters for this meeting: Chapter 3 – Chapter 5 (78 pages)

OUTDOOR Middlesex Canal Walk

Neil Devins of the Middlesex Canal Association will lead us on an educational walk along the Middlesex Canal. Meet at the Middlesex Canal Association kiosk at Town Park next to the dog park.

Shop discount books! Paperbacks for $1 and hardcovers for $2.
The Book Store is staffed by volunteers from the Friends of the Library and all proceeds help support library programs.
