POLICE LOG for April 9: Possible Break-In Attempts; Assassin Game; Tires Slashed

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, April 9, 2022:
  • A Jacquith Road caller reported that at 12:05am, surveillance camera picked up a party dressed in a black jumpsuit checking car doors and continued walking up Jacquith Road. (7:49am)
  • A Lake Street caller reported a party in gray/black hoodie walked through a yard around 4:18am and appeared to check a shed door. (8:31am)
  • Anonymous report that students from Shawsheen Tech are doing a “senior assassin” game with water guns. They are reported to be running through yards and attempting to get the seniors out of the house to spray them with the water gun. (10:33am)
  • A caller reported a man sitting in a gray SUV on Valyn Lane for 3 hours. Man was a private investigator. Police advised him of the rules for checking in with the station. (10:54am)
  • An Oakdale Road caller reported 2 vehicles in the driveway had their tires slashed. (11:26am)
  • Police responded to reports of cards being stolen from the Sports Card Show at the Shriners Auditorium. (1:24pm)
