POLICE LOG for April 1: Kids Playing Along Train Tracks; Suspected Intoxicated Driver

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, April 1, 2022:
  • A Grace Drive resident reported a broken window in their garage. (5:32am)
  • A caller reported an older blue Honda almost struck her vehicle while driving from Reading to Lucci’s. She observed the driver get out of his car and stumble into liquor store. Vehicle was later observed taking a right onto Lowell Street towards Reading. Reading Police notified. Police were unable to locate. (11:05am)
  • Animal Control Officer removed a deceased goose on Woburn Street. (1:32pm)
  • Police assisted with a SWAT call in Tewksbury. (4:15pm)
  • Police asked group of high schools hanging around the student parking lot area to leave. (10:55pm)
  • Keolis reported a group of kids were playing along the train tracks near the North Wilmington station. Police responded and transported at least two juveniles. (11:40pm)
