POLICE LOG for March 21: Juvenile Laying On Train Tracks?; Driver Issued Summons; Catalytic Converter Stolen; Car Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Monday, March 21, 2022:

• Police moved a metal rack in the middle of the road on Church Street. Police notified DPW for removal. (3:25am)
• Kevin Joseph Mallinson (22, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and Speeding. (5:06am)
• Fire Department responded to car fire on Ballardvale Street. (7:23am)
• A caller from a Jewel Drive business reported a catalytic converter was stolen off one of their vehicles. (9:20am)
• Police assisted in SWAT Call in Lowell. (2:50pm)
• A caller reported what looked like a juvenile laying on the train tracks behind Savers. Police contacted MBTA, which stopped trains. Police responded and did locate party in question. MBTA notified to resume service. (3:36pm)
