POLICE LOG for March 20: Train Gate Issues On Milton Way; Tools Stolen; Driver Issued Summons; Hit & Run On 93

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, March 20, 2022:
  • Train gates were down at crossing on Milton Way for at least 10 minutes. Police notified Keolis. When train passed, gates operated normally. (6:41am)
  • A caller on Bancroft Road reported some of his tools were taken overnight — one from his yard and one from his vehicle. (9:28am)
  • Police received report of a suspicious man wearing all black, with a black bandana, riding a black bike, in the Beeching Avenue area. Caller was concerned due to recent house break-ins. Police eventually caught with the man on Lowell Street, who checked OK. (10:46am)
  • Odaine E. Evans (32, Lowell) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License and an Improper Turn. (2:31pm)
  • Caller reported her daughter received a spam email on her school email account. School Office of Information & Technology was notified and already aware of the issue. (6:30pm)
  • A group of juveniles  at MBTA Wilmington Commuter Rail Station on Main Street were concerned about their friend who they got separated from in Boston. Juvenile was eventually located in Boston. (10:05pm)
  • Wilmington Police assisted State Police in locating a driver involved in an alleged hit and run on 93. Driver was taken into custody by State Police. (11:34pm)
