POLICE LOG for March 17: Issues With Train Crossing On Main St.; Company Soliciting Without Permit; Road Rage

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, March 17, 2022:
  • Police received report of one gate stuck in down position at train crossing on Main Street. Police confirmed situation. Keolis notified. MBTA Police notified and requested cruiser respond. Amtrak train came through at full speed. Situation eventually resolved. (1:46pm)
  • Police spoke with App Tree employee on Marcia Road who was soliciting without a license. Manager said he was unaware of bylaw. Solicitors stopped until permits were obtained. (1:59pm)
  • Truck struck a mailbox on Salem Street. (5:23pm)
  • Caller reported a road rage incident. Vehicle in front of her brake checked her a couple of times and gave her the finger. Caller said it was unprovoked. Incident occurred on Main Street. Caller wanted the incident logged. (9:13pm)
