POLICE LOG for March 13: House Break-In On Beeching Ave.; Train Gate Issues On Glen Road

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, March 13, 2022:
  • Vehicle crashed into trees on 93 South near Exit 34. Airbag deployed. No injuries noted. Sign taken out. Vehicle towed. State Police handled scene. (1:52am)
  • A caller reported he’s been sitting at the Glen Road train tracks for at least 5 minutes with the lights flashing and the gates down. No train has gone through. MBTA and Keolis notified and responded. Situation was eventually rectified. (4:30am)
  • A caller reported a dead coyote on Ballardvale Street near Target. Police notified DPW. (6:18am)
  • A 2-vehicle crash occurred on Middlesex Avenue and Salem Street. One occupant got out a vehicle and swore at the other driver. Police responded. All parties refused medical attention. (3:47pm)
  • A Beeching Avenue caller reported she left this morning and arrived home to find her front door open. Police responded and confirmed a break-in had occurred. Police spoke with neighbor who will try to share security footage. (4:29pm)
