POLICE LOG for March 11: Fire Department Responds To Electrical Outlet Fire At Dunkin’; Amazon Van Rear-Ends Vehicle

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Friday, March 11, 2022:
  • Fire Department responded to fire and black smoke coming from electrical outlet at Dunkin’ on Main Street. Building was evacuated. (5:51am)
  • A caller reported she was rear-ended while getting off of the ramp on Concord Street by an Amazon delivery driver. Caller stated driver was not cooperative with giving his information. Police responded and assisted with paperwork exchange. (5:13pm)
  • A caller stated she and her mother were in Target for about 30 minutes. When they came out, it appeared that a vehicle had struck their car and left the scene. (5:34pm)
  • Tewksbury Police called to report they received a call of an erratic driver on Salem Street entering Wilmington. Wilmington Police pulled the vehicle over. Driver checked OK. Driver said she was frazzled by the driver behind her following so closely. (10:23pm)
