POLICE LOG for March 8: Laptop Stolen; Dog Struck By Car; Brush Fire

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, March 8, 2022:
  • Police gave a parking citation for blocking a fire hydrant and violating the all-night parking ban on Pouliot Place. (1:32am)
  • A Salem Street caller reported his neighbor’s tree fell across his driveway last night and he is unable to get out. Police spoke with both parties. Tree is on private property. Neighbor will make arrangements. (9:09am)
  • Police responded to brush fire caused by down wires on lawn on Suncrest Avenue and West Street. (10:38am)
  • A caller reported a laptop was stolen from a utility closet at Avalon Oaks West. Caller has video footage. (11:50am)
  • A car struck a dog on High Street. Driver stayed on scene. (6:04pm)
  • Police assisted with traffic from Town Meeting at Shriners. (7:01pm)
