POLICE LOG for March 2: Three Drivers Issued Summonses; Possible Bear Track Sighting

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, March 2, 2022:
  • Douglas James Clifford (32, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License; Unregistered Motor Vehicle; and Motor Vehicle Lights Violation. (1:24am)
  • A caller reported a tractor trailer drove by a school bus with its lights activated in the Middlesex Avenue/Federal Street area. Police pulled over truck. Operator stated lights were not flashing when the cab part of the truck went pass the school bus. He then beeped his horn for the kids at the bus stop. (8:02am)
  • Fire Department responded to oven fire on Cunningham Street. (10:17am)
  • Alvaro Amin Oscoso Arques (28, Clifton, NJ) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of A Motor Vehicle and Speeding. (11:18am)
  • Police assisted with a SWAT Call in Newbury. (12:46pm)
  • A caller on Lockwood Road reports what she believes is bear tracks in her backyard. (6:22pm)
  • Anthony C. Q. Brooks (36, Manchester, NH)  was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Suspended License (Subsequent Offense). (7:21pm)
