POLICE LOG for February 26: Wilmington Man Arrested At Dunkin; MBTA Train Crossing Issue; Missing Vehicle Not Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, February 26, 2022:
  • Police issued multiple written warnings to drivers for failure to remove snow and ice from vehicles. (9:28am)
  • Lawn Street resident reported she is unable to exit her driveway due to placement of snow from snow plow. Police assisted her in getting out. Police notified DPW that road needs to be widened by plows. (10:06am)
  • A caller reported hitting snowbank at Eames Street and Woburn Street, causing damage to trailer unit of truck. (11:40am)
  • A resident reported railroad gates are down on Kilmarnock Street with no train in sight. Police responded. Train did come through. Police spoke with walker in area. Walker said gates were down and lights were activated for 10 minutes before train came through. (1:31pm)
  • Michael John Jensen-Carter (34, Wilmington) was arrested for Disturbing The Peace (Subsequent Offense), Trespassing, and Resisting Arrest. Police responded to panic alarm at Dunkin’ on Main Street. (4:56pm)
  •  Caller reported vehicle was stolen from Benson Road. Police later located the vehicle on Shawsheen Avenue. Caller had forgotten he had allowed mechanic permission to take vehicle to work on it. (8:59pm)
