POLICE LOG for February 12: Call Over Man Ice Fishing On Silver Lake; Driver Issued Citation For Failure To Yield To A School Bus

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, February 12, 2022:
  • Police notified DPW of large amount of wood chippings in the roadway on Andover Street. (5:26am)
  • A caller reported concern for a man ice fishing on Silver Lake. Police determined ice appeared to be safe this time, but will check back. (8:51am)
  • Police issued a citation to a driver for reckless operation of a motor vehicle and failure to yield for a school bus. (1:43pm)
  • Caller reported front door to Starbucks did not secure properly. Business is closed, but door is open. Police attempted to secure front door, and alarm sounded. Alarm company could not get in touch with store’s contacts. (3:58pm)
