POLICE LOG for February 9: Call Over Stolen Condoms Leads To Arrest; Ongoing Issues With Railroad Crossing Gates On Glen Road

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, February 9, 2022:
  • A caller reported a white male wearing a neon jacket was stealing condoms inside CVS. Male has been hanging out outside the store and going in and out for the past 2 hours. Caller stated male is now waiting outside and she has taken possession of the condoms. Police responded. CVS filled out no-trespass order. Patrick T. Duval (33, Lowell) was arrested on an outstanding warrant. (1:07am)
  • Police received multiple calls of the train gates down on Glen Road with for an extended period of time with no train coming through. Keolis notified and responded. Police stayed on scene. Schools notified of late buses. (7:50am)
  • A Woburn Street caller reported his mailbox was damaged by a vehicle sometime overnight. (7:54am)
  • A walk-in party reported unwanted flowers and letter was left on her vehicle by another employee. (10:36am)
  • Bus #8 reported 2 cars passed school bus while students were crossing street with bus’s lights and stop sign on. Incident occurred on Glen Road and Gandalf Way. Police to follow up. (1:48pm0
  • Off-duty officer reported railroad gates on Glen Road are acting up. Gates had gone up and down 3-4 times in a row. MBTA and Keolis notified. (3:34pm)
