POLICE LOG for February 6: More Railroad Gate Issues At Glen Road & Kilmarnock Street Crossings; Suspicious Man At Town Beach

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Sunday, February 6, 2022:
  • Police were notified that railroad gate lights are flashing and bells are sounding, but gates are up at crossing on Kilmarnock Street. Keolis was notified. (3:47am)
  • Concerned parent reported parking area to left of Middle School where students get dropped off was a sheet of ice. Caller was concerned for students tomorrow. Police notified DPW. (1:04pm)
  • Police were notified that gates were down on Glen Road, and the train came through, but the gates haven’t got back up. Police received multiple calls of traffic backing up. Police notified Keolis. (2:05pm)
  • A caller reported she was at the Town Beach playground with her daughter when a man approached her talking about planes flying in the sky saying that it was the FBI and they’ve been flying over for years. Police checked area, but could not locate man. (2:58pm)
