POLICE LOG for February 5: Caller Thinks Skateboarder May Be High; Vehicle Rollover; Car vs. Mailboxes

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Saturday, February 5, 2022:
  • Police issued a citation for a winter overnight parking ban violation on Pouliot Place. (1:36am)
  • Person reported losing a black iPhone XS at the MBTA North Wilmington train station. (9:32am)
  • Person reported losing a white mini iPad in a blue case at the Shriners Auditorium. (11:02am)
  • A caller on Isabella Way stated that DPW blocked her into her driveway with snow. Stated this wasn’t the first time. Police notified DPW. (3:17pm)
  • A caller stated there was a white man in his 20’s with red hair in a black jacket riding a skate board in the middle of the street in the Shawsheen Avenue/Reed Street area. Caller believes man may be high. Man is waving at everyone. Police responded, but was unable to locate the skateboarder. (3:27pm)
  • A vehicle rolled over at Liberty Street and Federal Street. Vehicle towed. No medical transport. (5:53pm)
  • A vehicle struck mailboxes and a pole on West Street. Vehicle towed. (6:07pm)
  • A caller was concerned about a homeless man he came in contact with earlier tonight near the library. Caller was concerned about man’s wellbeing in the cold weather. Police checked area. (11:53pm)
