5 Things To Do In Wilmington On Saturday, January 22, 2022: Book Store Next Door Is Open; Donate Children’s Winter Coats

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are 5 things to do in Wilmington on Saturday, January 22, 2022:

• The Suburban Boston Spring Home Show will emanate from Wilmington’s Shriners Auditorium (99 Fordham Road) on Friday, January 21, 2022 (11am-8pm); Saturday, January 22, 2022 (10am-8pm); and Sunday, January 23, 2022 (10am-5pm). Admission is free with advance online registration or $10 at the door. Parking is free.
• The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. 100% of all proceeds support the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
• The Wilmington High School Cross Country and Track & Field Booster Club is holding a 2-week fundraiser with Sees Candies. Enjoy some delicious chocolates for Valentine’s Day and a percentage of all sales will be donated to the WHS track teams. Place your order by Friday, January 28, 2022 HERE.
• Lapels Dry Cleaning, located at 209 Main Street inside Wilmington Crossing, is collecting winter coats for kids at its location through Thursday, February 10, 2022. All donations will be professionally cleaned and delivered to the Salvation Army.
• WCTV has launched a new podcast featuring  Wilmington writers as our guests. Each episode of “Wilmington Writes” is taped at WCTV in our Podcast studio. Guest writers read their work and talk a little about the inspiration for the piece they share, why they write and more.  We’ll even take your picture to share on social media. Writers of all ages are welcome. We’d prefer shorter pieces of prose like poetry, but can share an excerpt of longer works as well.
