POLICE LOG for January 12: Slip & Fall At Gas Station; Dog Bleeding Inside Market Basket; Stranger Knocking At The Door

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Wednesday, January 12, 2022:
  • A Market Basket manager reported a service dog in the store has its paws bleeding after having its nails clip. Dog owner and service dog waited up front while staff finished shopping for them. (9:35am)
  • A Baland Road resident reported unemployment fraud. (4:47pm)
  • A Winter Street caller reported an unknown party knocking on their front door. Caller reported it was their oil delivery man and was all set. (5:51pm)
  • A caller stated he got out at the gas pumps at Cumberland Farms and slipped on ice. He is not injured, but when he asked the employee to salt the area, they refused. Police responded. Employee agreed to put down rock salt. Caller was satisfied. (7:21pm)
