POLICE LOG for January 11: School Bus Breaks Down With Kids On The Bus; Vehicle Gets Stuck In Ditch

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Tuesday, January 11, 2022:
  • A vehicle spun out on 93 South near Exit 35 and is stuck in a ditch. State Police notified. (4:46am)
  • A caller reported a school bus was blocking the road on Lake Street. Police responded and confirmed bus lost power, is blocking the road, and has a few kids still on it. Bus was restarted, moved, and parents of the 3 kids on the bus came and picked them up. Principal was also called and responded to the scene. Bus was towed. (1:42pm)
  • A caller reported an erratic operator swerving all over the road. Operator pulled into 99’s parking lot on Lowell Street. Police responded. Vehicle is having heating system problems. Owner will leave vehicle in lot or get it towed. (5:17pm)
