POLICE LOG for December 30: Dog Attack; Tractor Trailer vs. Wall; Sink Hole Forming

WILMINGTON, MA — Below are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log from Thursday, December 30, 2021:
  • Police notified the Water Department of water coming up from the road and a sink hole forming at Glen Road and Fay Street. (7:08am)
  • A car and truck were involved in a crash on Ballardvale Street. No injuries. One vehicle towed. (11:52am)
  • A tractor trailer struck a rock wall on Chestnut Street and continued on. Police pulled over vehicle and checked route for an additional damage. (1:59pm)
  • A caller reported he was walking his dog around 2pm and another dog came out of a Marcia Road home and bit his dog. (2:38pm)
  • An anonymous caller reported multiple vehicles were doing burn outs in the Market Basket parking lot. Police responded. No vehicles were in the lot. (10:44pm)
